With the road and external landscape underway in part 4 I turned my attention to the front garden area. Daisy will need somewhere to put her bins and recycling box. Continue reading “Building ‘The End Terrace’ Dolls House (part 5 the front garden)”

Building ‘The End Terrace’ Dolls House (part 4 the landscape of the backscene)
Following from part 3 I am now going to look at the backscene and landscape that the house sits into. This is quite involved so we’ll look at the concrete wall, fencing and the road first. Continue reading “Building ‘The End Terrace’ Dolls House (part 4 the landscape of the backscene)”
Making dolls house ceiling lights.
This is a stand alone entry into the process of making the house for Daisy.
I wanted to make ceiling lights that could be removed and changed easily and so they needed to be some sort of plug in arrangement that works with the house as it is. Continue reading “Making dolls house ceiling lights.”
Building ‘The End Terrace’ Dolls House (part 3 front wall)
Following on from part 2 I needed to decide on the appearance of the front of the house, window and front door, brickwork, and the ‘curb appeal’ for the estate agents. Continue reading “Building ‘The End Terrace’ Dolls House (part 3 front wall)”

Today is a metal work and woodwork day.
I decided to make pieces to close the holes where the gearstick mechanism was. Continue reading “To fill a hole, or two.”
Exhausting work
With the transport of EV parts underway from Ireland I needed to get back on the car. I have been a bit busy recently and rather exhausted from lack of sleep. I have also been installing some low voltage Solar PV on my trailer, so not idle. Continue reading “Exhausting work”
The ICE has left the building!
This wasn’t the plan today. I was only going to check if I had the right splined driver bit to undo the CV joints. Having no idea what sort or size it would be Continue reading “The ICE has left the building!”
