Going shopping…

Harriet is wearing a hi-viz vest and looking down the length of a square wooden stick. It is in a white crate of matching sticks.

Well, after yesterday’s adventure……towing a pallet truck back to the workshop with my bicycle (my legs still haven’t forgiven me) maybe I need something like this?

An old truck I can convert to an electric vehicle maybe.

Harriet is standing in front of a large red vintage lorry.
That’s a nice truck!

Anyway, heading out to do ‘shopping’ today and I think I have made a friend!
A little painted wooden horse outside a shop front.

I don’t need to buy one, sweet as it is.

Harriet is petting a small painted wooden horse. The horse is red with bands of blue and white patterns. It is about half Harriet’s height.
Awww, sweet!

At the timber suppliers now to order a load of 25mm square stick material.
It will scale up to 75mm square stock for fence posts on the miniature garden railway.

I still have to check each one for being straight and usable though.
Maybe that is why they keep it boxed!

This one looks straight.

Timber ordered. Next stop the carpet shop.
The landlord asked me to choose a carpet for the design studio, and he would get it laid when he is back from his holiday.

I think this one will do. Grey-ish, mottled pattern, non descript pattern. That shouldn’t show the dirt too much, and it looks hard wearing too.

Home next.

Harriet is looking at a square of carpet from a sample. It is a mottled grey pattern.
I think this one will do.
