Daft saying I learnt as a kid. The rain today is falling on ‘another day’ with respect to previous days that were not rainy!
Anyway, we need it for the IncrEdible Salford allotment (photo above), the veg garden and for the wildlife and environment, as well as to refill reservoirs for our own wasteful uses.
However, what I don’t need is for it to be leaking into my basement! First time since I underpinned the house, so something has changed and will need investigating, and repairing.
Ho hum.
